DLCC Names Rep. Jenna Jacobson’s BID for Senate a Top Ten Race Nationwide
MADISON, WI – As election day approaches, the DLCC has recognized Representative Jenna Jacobson’s campaign for the 17th State Senate district as a top-ten race for Democrats nationwide. She is running against Senator Howard Marklein, who, as Co-Chair of the Joint Finance Committee, has presided over skyrocketing property taxes, declining rural healthcare access, and a broken school funding formula.
Jacobson is running to give South-West Wisconsin the voice and leadership they deserve, lower the cost of everyday goods, and deliver property tax relief by properly funding local schools.
