Milwaukee County accepted responsibility for removal of the boat. Why is the Mayor and City involved?
SO in other words, the responsible party (the boats owner) gets away scot-free? What a big joke this has turned out to be…just like the County and Coast guard who didn’t do their job in the first place. Shame on all of them, from the owner on down.
It’s wonderful that someone has stepped forward to pay for the removal of this boat. However, the owners should be held accountable for the entire cost. The scuddled their boat between Bradford and McKinley beaches. You know what else is between Bradford and McKinley beaches? The McKinley Marina.. Personally, I find the owners claim they could not find the Marina at best laughable. I’m sure they filed an insurance claim. Time to bill them for the removal of their boat.
