2022 Milwaukee Spring Election Results

Tuesday’s spring election featured a race for mayor of Milwaukee and all 18 seats on the Milwaukee County Board.

Here are the unofficial results for contested races that appeared on the ballot for city of Milwaukee voters. Data is from the Milwaukee County Election Commission. Races with only a single candidate have been removed.

Absentee ballots from the City of Milwaukee are expected to be delivered after the initial results from in-person voting are turned. Totals may show all wards reporting before the centrally processed absentee ballots are submitted.

• Robert Donovan – 24,543 votes – 28.31%
• Cavalier Johnson – 62,143 votes – 71.69%

• Purnima Nath – 1,417 votes – 19.63%

• Eric Rorholm – 3,471 votes – 41.01%

• Donald G. Schwartz – 3,942 votes – 48.78%
• Patti Logsdon – 4,139 votes – 51.22%

• Juan Miguel Martinez – 1,780 votes – 50.24%
• Josh Zepnick – 1,763 votes – 49.76%

No candidate submitted enough signatures to appear on the ballot, but seven candidates ran as registered write-ins.

The county clerk says the write-in results won’t be reported tonight. The city of Milwaukee has until Monday to tabulate the results and then the county has until April 15 to certify the results.
