A Virtual Q+A with Common Council President Cavalier Johnson
Members can join in as we chat with Common Council President Cavalier Johnson about issues of the day.
On Thursday Aug. 13 at 5:30 p.m. Urban Milwaukee President Jeramey Jannene and Common Council President Cavalier Johnson will virtually sit down together to chat about his rise to Common Council President, his vision for the future of his district and the city, and his opinions on defunding the police. And we want our members to join us!
During the pandemic, Johnson has put a lot of energy into keeping his citizens informed of COVID-19 updates and rulings, including where testing sites are located, what housing and rental resources are available and whether employees can obtain hazard pay when returning back to work — a policy he has been fighting for.
To listen in on what Johnson has to say about these topics and then ask some questions of your own, click here and reserve your spot. Once your ticket is confirmed, click on the link in the confirmation notification to download your zoom link. Then on the day of the event, click the link and tune in! It’s that easy.
