Tomorrow, Thursday Aug. 6 at 5:30 p.m. Urban Milwaukee President Jeramey Jannene and former Milwaukee County Board Chairman Theo Lipscomb will virtually sit down together to chat about Lipscomb’s time as a board chairman, his new position as executive director of the Local Initiatives Support Commission (LISC) and the upcoming virtual MANDI’s awards in mid-August.

Lipscomb served on the Milwaukee County Board for 12 years, five of them as chairman. Now he’s working at LISC, a non-profit that aims to invest in and support local business, housing and jobs in historically underfunded communities, especially where racial discrimination is involved.
