Sanford Biggers – BAM (Seated Warrior)

Drawing inspiration from the Underground Railroad, Rastafarianism, Zen Buddhism, ancient Egypt, and 19th and 20th century African sculpture, Biggers utilizes various art forms to create multi-faceted works that collaborate with the past to help us understand our present.
