I grew up on Jackson St in the 70s, 80s, early 90s (and moved from MKE 15 yrs ago), and while southward there always some development going on, this real estate boom in in the forgotten freeway fallowland always blows my mind. And as I’m now on the East Coast, a luxury 3-bedroom for only $1100 is making me seriously consider moving back home.
