What is your job and its responsibilities?
Zywave Talent Recruiter, at your service! I’m on a leave from my sales position to be a part of a recruiting project, with my specific focus on reaching out to top Greater Milwaukee salespeople. I introduce why Zywave is hiring, run interested candidates through the recruiting process, and my responsibility for each ends when they show up for their first day. I also play softball, referee basketball from youth to high school varsity, am active in the youth faith formation program at my Catholic church, and I promote some 10th and Blake MillerCoors beers on the side.

How long have you lived in Milwaukee & what brought you here?
I’ve lived in Milwaukee all of my almost 29.5 years except a 6 month stint in Pittsburgh. Born and raised in New Berlin, product of UWM (Go Panthers!). Family and friends brought me back home for good.

What is your favorite Milwaukee event?
Milwaukee Brewers Opening Day is a highlight of my year. Friends and I throw a good tailgate party, all NEWaukeeans are invited. Dislike that this year’s game falls on a Monday. What’s up with that, MLB?

What is the one thing you’d like to change about Milwaukee?
If I had it my way, I would change the stance of the leadership of the City of Milwaukee on business development along Lake Michigan. Think Navy Pier in Chicago or Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco or PortMiami. Do you know how awesome that would be? If the Bucks ever build a new arena, the lakefront is where it should be. If we can just take all the money allotted for the streetcar project and instead put it towards a new arena on the lake, that would be great.

What is your favorite Milwaukee beer?
Miller Lite because it is the original light beer, it’s triple hops brewed, it has great taste and is less filling. 96 calories and 3.2 carbs of Miller Time.

What do you think of Milwaukee as a place to socialize and play?
Everyone knows Smallwaukee excels at socializing and playing. We have a bar scene for everyone, we have professional and collegiate sports (SAVE THE BUCKS!), we have entertainment galore. I especially like playing at the country music concerts at The Rave – I hope they keep that up!
