What is your job and its responsibilities?
I’m the Lead Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor at the all new Drench Fitness Boutique located in the historic Germania Building on 135 W. Wells St. (& Plankinton). We moved from our previous location on Water St. back in May and couldn’t be more stoked about our new, fully equipped functional training studio with state of the art equipment (non-electrical Woodway Curve Treadmills,  life fitness SYNERGY 360 functional training stations, TRX suspension training systems, kettle bells, boxing bags, and more). We’re continuing to evolve to exciting new heights as our memberships and community grow-plans of continued expansion are in progress. We’re not your ordinary big box ‘gym’ or ‘fitness center’ where many are found lost and unmotivated with the ‘what and how to do’. We take training to another level with bodywork guidance and motivation while working one-on-one or in small groups. You won’t find a more compassionate group of trainers anywhere else.

How long have you lived in Milwaukee and what brought you here?
I’m born and bred on the east side (Cambridge Heights). My parents actually met each other on that side of town back in the early eighties, I’m a true eastsider. I’ve lived in Milwaukee my whole life with the exception of 5 months in Cali. I left with a grudge in my younger years, but me and the city made up and I’ve been back ever since. #milwaukeehome

What neighborhood do you live in and what do you like about it?
I’ve been back on my home turf (East Side/Cambridge Heights)  for a year now. I was previously in Riverwest for several years before moving back. Not only is it my familiar neighborhood, it’s one of most centrally located areas around. There’s nothing like Summertime on the East Side. Only drawback is parking- I’m at a constant war with those damn parking official jeeps.

What is your favorite Milwaukee building?
I recently watched the sunrise over Lake Michigan through the main windows from inside of the Calatrava. It was bliss. The building is an internationally recognized landmark that a lot of us (mikwaukeeans) are proud of.

Who is your favorite Milwaukee personality?
The Milverine. I grew up a big fan of the comic book character ‘Wolverine’. To see such a similarity manifest in a simple dude taking shirtless power walking to the next level is not only inspiring, but pretty entertaining. You know it’s a good day when you spot the Milverine shirtless, walking at a fierce pace down the downtown streets on a sunny afternoon.

What is the one thing you’d like to change about Milwaukee?
The lucrative business of the Parking Enforcement Officials. Those people haunt everyone’s dreams.
