“The project is being financed through the EB-5 program, which allows foreign nationals to obtain a visa, by investing $500,000 and creating at least 10 jobs.”
Why do they need to get foreign nationals to work on a construction project?
@Dave K Why not? But to be clear this is a program that brings money into the US and creates local jobs.
Maybe I don’t get it – is the project being funded by foreign nationals? Even if foreign money is being used to fund the project, can’t they use Wisconsin labor?
@Dave K Foreign investors, yes. And yes they certainly can use Wisconsin labor.
Will there be any first floor retail opportunities here or is it just for office spaces?
@Vijay I don’t believe there is any retail space in this building.
