Derby Little Secrets

The Year of the Shevil?

By - Apr 4th, 2011 04:00 am

If you weren’t at the Cell last month, you missed the Shevil Knevils comeback from a 40 point deficit to end the Crazy 8s undefeated record with a 69-59 second half stunner.

Meanwhile, the Maidens just couldn’t hang on against the Rushin’ Rollettes, who skated away with a 60-76 victory, leaving the Maidens in last place headed into this month’s semi-final bout.  The Maidens face off against the first place Crazy 8s, leaving the Shevils and the Rollettes to duke it out in the middle. The winners of each bout face off in May for the championship trophy.

Can the Maidens pull off a last-minute win in the clinch, or will the 8s get their groove back?  Will the Rollettes get a shot at defending their 2010 title, or is 2011 the Year of the Shevil?

Join Sin and Innocence of the Crazy Eights, Hack Saw of the Rushin’ Rollettes, Lacy DC of the Shevil Knevils and Habeas Kickass of Maiden Milwaukee for an especially trashy edition of Derby Little Secrets.
