Summer in the parks

June

By - Jun 14th, 2009 09:03 pm

Sure, June is well on its way, and with the advent of the first major festivals (PrideFest this past weekend, Polish Fest next weekend) and street parties (Locust Street Festival last weekend, Summer Soulstice on North Avenue this weekend), summer is officially here. Here’s our slightly belated guide to everything you can do this month, all over Milwaukee, mostly for cheap or for free, in our beautiful and robust parks system, from glow-in-the-dark golf to beach volleyball to tranquil garden strolls.

But don’t take our word for it – get out there! And enjoy our guides for July and August, and our free music guide, too.
