Driscoll brings nursing experience to Community Care board
BROOKFIELD, Wis. (December 17, 2020) – Community Care, Inc. is pleased to announce the latest appointment to its board of directors. Amy Driscoll DNP, RN, GCNS-BC will bring more than a decade’s worth of nursing experience, in both the clinical and the classroom setting, to Community Care’s board.
Driscoll, a registered nurse licensed in both Illinois and Wisconsin, is currently a director of education and clinical practice at Advocate Aurora Health in Wisconsin, where she focuses on continuing education and professional development to improve patient outcomes. Driscoll is also an adjunct professor in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s College of Nursing.
Driscoll started her career at Aurora St. Luke’s Neuro-Surgical Intensive Care Unit, where she worked as both a charge nurse and a preceptor with new staff nurses. Driscoll is also a licensed geriatric clinical nurse specialist.
After receiving a bachelor of science in nursing from Carroll University, Driscoll completed her master of science in nursing at Alverno College, as well as her doctorate in nursing practice at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Community Care’s board of directors consists of business and community leaders with varying expertise and experiences. Together they oversee the organization’s strategic and financial decisions.
