SUMMARY:Blind Boys of Alabama Present Songs in the Key of Life
DESCRIPTION:Presented by South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center as part of the 2026-2027 Performing Arts Season \nSix-time GRAMMY® winners\, Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductees\, and living gospel legends\, The Blind Boys of Alabama are more than a musical group—they are a masterclass in American soul. Having helped define the soundtrack of the Civil Rights era\, they rose from singing for pocket change in the Jim Crow South to performing for three U.S. Presidents. On this tour\, these singing legends pay tribute to Stevie Wonder’s 1976 masterpiece\, Songs in the Key of Life\, classics like: Sir Duke\, I Wish\, As\, and more along with their own repertoire\, blending gospel\, soul\, and Americana. \nIn 2003\, the Blind Boys earned a Grammy® for an album that included their acclaimed cover of Stevie Wonder’s Higher Ground\, a version later featured in film and television\, including FX’s Fargo. In 2007\, Stevie Wonder presented Blind Boys singer Jimmy Carter a Lifetime Achievement Award. \nWith over 75 years of lifting spirits they continue spreading light and love through the universal language of music. It will be an evening of power\, praise\, and proof that some voices aren’t just heard—they’re felt. \n“They are always hunting for – and finding – the perfect note or harmony that lifts an old tune into the sublime.” TIME Magazine \n“Whether you’re a church-going regular or not\, these songs will put you right in an imaginary old wooden pew and have you clapping right along.” Off-Beat Magazine \nRun time: 90 minutes not including intermission\, to be decided on site

SUMMARY:Goose
DESCRIPTION:Goose is an American rock band known for its genre-blending sound\, improvisational live shows\, and deeply dedicated fan base. The band — Rick Mitarotonda (vocals\, guitar)\, Peter Anspach (vocals\, keys\, guitar)\, Trevor Weekz (bass)\, and Cotter Ellis (drums) — has risen from performing in Connecticut basements to headlining some of the country’s most iconic venues. Blending indie-rock hooks with expansive improvisation\, Goose has built its following organically through relentless touring and a strong DIY ethos\, leveraging platforms like YouTube\, Bandcamp\, and nugs.net to connect directly with fans. \nThe band recently announced their sixth studio album\, BIG MODERN!\, arriving June 12\, alongside lead single “Good2B\,” a sun-soaked\, high-energy introduction to the record. The release follows a prolific 2025 that saw the arrival of two studio albums\, including Everything Must Go and Chain Yer Dragon\, which propelled Goose to #2 on Billboard’s Top New Artist Albums chart and drew praise from Rolling Stone for its balance of studio precision and live energy. Everything Must Go’s singles “Give It Time” and “Your Direction” both charted simultaneously at AAA radio\, making Goose the only band to achieve this distinction. \nSince recording their 2016 debut Moon Cabin in a New Hampshire barn\, Goose has refined a sound that bridges thoughtful songwriting\, tight musicianship\, and emotional honesty. With sold-out shows at venues like Radio City Music Hall\, Red Rocks\, Forest Hills Stadium\, and Madison Square Garden\, along with appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon\, Jimmy Kimmel Live!\, and major festivals like Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits\, Goose continues to cement its reputation as one of the most compelling live bands of its generation \nHappens on the following Dates:\nNov 6\, 2026\, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.\nNov 7\, 2026\, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.\nNov 8\, 2026\, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

SUMMARY:Better Than Ezra Presents Legends of the Fall
DESCRIPTION:Songs\, albums\, live performances — some are simply timeless. From their early roots\, circa 1988\, playing house parties at Louisiana State University\, Better Than Ezra have made their mark on the music world in a major way. Yes\, the New Orleans quartet\, founded by Kevin Griffin [lead vocals\, guitar\, piano] and Tom Drummond [bass\, backing vocals]\, who unleash hummablemelodies\, unshakable guitar riffs\, and confessional lyrics\, have stood the test of time — from 1995’s #1 hit “Good” all the way to Taylor Swift’s famous 2010 cover of the Better Than Ezraclassic “Breathless.” And they’re still going strong: in May 2024\, the band released their long-anticipated tenth studio album Super Magick via Round Hill Records. Named one of the “100 Greatest Alternative Artists of All Time” by Billboard\, with a legacy that includes inspiring a classic Saturday Night Live skit\, Better Than Ezra spent 2024 on the road touring their headline LIVE A LITTLE TOUR in the spring and continuing through the year\, recently wrapping their LEGENDS OF THE FALL: TOKYO DRIFT TOUR.

SUMMARY:The Mavericks & Friends
DESCRIPTION:The music lives on. \nFor three decades\, The Mavericks built their Grammy-winning legacy under the leadership of frontman Raul Malo. His unmistakable voice turned songs like “All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down” and “Back In Your Arms Again” into modern-day staples of American roots music\, blurring the lines between genre and generation. When a battle with cancer took Raul off the road in 2025\, his bandmates honored his influence with a sold-out show at the Ryman Auditorium\, filling Raul’s final hours on earth with song and celebration. \nThe celebration continues with The Mavericks & Friends. Featuring Paul Deakin\, Robert Reynolds\, Eddie Perez\, and Jerry Dale McFadden\, the tour combines a unique version of The Mavericks’ past and present lineups with rotating guest vocalists. The result is an ever-evolving live show that showcases the band’s catalog\, salutes Raul Malo’s once-in-a-generation impact\, and kickstarts a new chapter of The Mavericks’ unfolding story.
