It aims to shorten the systems development life cycle and provide continuous delivery with high-quality software. DevOps is complementary to Agile software development; several DevOps aspects came from the Agile approach of breaking down components and batch sizes. \nMany fundamental DevOps practices are inspired by other well-known practices as well\, such as Lean and Deming’s Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle and The Toyota Way.
