World Water Day is a key fundraising event for Global Partners: Running Waters (GPRW)\, an affiliated ministry of the School Sisters of Notre Dame\, with proceeds benefitting water projects that will impact communities in Latin America. The event offers Latin American cuisine\, live music\, a silent auction\, a wine pull\, photo booth and a Latin American marketplace featuring handcrafted goods. Cash bar available. Suggested attire: Business casual. \nPlease purchase tickets by February 22. \nWorld Water Day will be held in the Alumnae Dining Room\, Bergstrom Hall\, on the Mount Mary University campus. \nThe mission of Global Partners: Running Waters is to build and maintain intercultural relationships through collaborative partnerships benefitting rural and urban communities in Latin America. We are excited to be hosting this event in person after a three-year hiatus. The Taste of Milwaukee will bring together over 20 restaurants and caterers that will represent the best the City has to offer serving up their specialty dishes to more than 250 foodies\, business leaders\, and other supporters. The event also includes a silent auction\, wine pull\, and a 50/50 raffle. \nAll event proceeds benefit our Independent Living\, Employment\, and Respite Care programs. Your meaningful support allows Broadscope to continue to be a recognized leader in advancing opportunities\, fostering inclusion\, and empowering freedom of choice for people with disabilities and their families throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. \nBroadscope has served the community for 50+ years and provides services to over 1\,000 individuals annually through our Employment\, Independent Living and Respite Programs.

DESCRIPTION:Black Husky will be hosting a full-on fashion show complete with a pink carpet\, disco balls\, a fog machine\, walkout music and of course local BigWigs with pink wigs and matching outfits! \nContestants include Tracey Holevas from GE Healthcare\, Nikki Collier from Leashless Labs\, Amanda Wisth from Lemonyay\, Deanna Savage from Savage Support\, Emily Park Sutrick & Derrick Sutrick from Nessun Dorma\, Amanda Buhrman from Sweetly Baked and Tim Eichinger from Black Husky Brewing. \nThere will be special pink and glitter drinks available and Tots on the Steet will be on site. \nThis is a fundraiser for the nonprofit Susan G. Komen. Funds raised will be used to ensure access to essential breast health services and education programs\, and support research to find the cures for breast cancer.
