This Carpenter lecture series features some of the best minds in science. From the sensation of being hugged by an octopus to quantum mechanics\, Science on Tap looks to answer questions you never knew you had! \nSometimes\, stars cannibalize the worlds orbiting them! In several billion years\, our own inner rocky bodies will be consumed as our sun grows nearly 100 times in diameter. In this talk\, learn about the search for cannibal stars in the Milky Way. DESCRIPTION:Get it\, Ghouls! Zombie-walk on off to this haunted time! Come join me to “creep” it real at this spookily sweet class! Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Sugar & Gold Cookies and Confections is here to help! In this 1.5-hour class\, we’ll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes\, it’s beginner friendly!)\, do some piping practice with Royal Icing\, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies\, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you’ll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron). \nWe’ll be enjoying our fall favorites for a 1.5 hour cookie decorating class! If you have a bone to pick with royal icing\, you’ll love this fang-tastic class. All treats\, no tricks – I promise! \nYou’ll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we’ll cover in class! \nClass will be taught by Sherina of Sugar & Gold Cookies and Confections.
