DESCRIPTION:In celebration of the launch of Bon Iver’s new album “fABLE\,” join the Milwaukee Art Museum for the premiere of the previously unreleased triptych film “SABLE\,” a poignant collaboration between Wisconsin artists Bon Iver and Erinn Springer. \n“SABLE\,” depicts a journey of introspection and emotional evolution. Through minimalist visuals and contemplative imagery\, the three-song EP from Bon Iver explores themes of solitude\, reflection\, and the passage from personal turmoil to resolute hope. Three individual videos were released in the fall of 2024 alongside the songs of “SABLE\,”: “THINGS BEHIND THINGS BEHIND THINGS”\, “S P E Y S I D E”\, and “AWARDS SEASON”. These three songs comprise the opening tracks of Bon Iver’s new album “SABLE\, fABLE\,” launching April 11\, 2025. \nThis screening is included with Museum admission and is free for Members. Admission tickets are available at the door or online. The film plays continuously all day in Lubar Auditorium\, with screenings starting every 30 minutes. \n
