Erie Street. \nIsraelow’s public presentation\, “Asher Israelow: Craft and Lore\,” details his studio process as well as projects in which inlay\, mapping and storytelling are major components. The talk is followed by a Q&A. \nHe says\, “I am attracted to most art forms and have a hard time distinguishing art from design. I think when design is done well\, it becomes art.” \nThe MIAD Creativity Series was founded by Madeleine and David Lubar. \n
