SUMMARY:Kicks & Hops - River Exploration for Adults
DESCRIPTION:(For adults 21+) Meet your friends from the Urban Ecology Center at Hubbard Park\, throw on some rubber waders\, and get in the river! Join us for an evening of kick net exploration in the Milwaukee River. We’ll search for dragonflies\, tadpoles\, and other macroinvertebrates then share our findings over a beer in the biergarten! \nWading through the river\, we’ll learn how to identify these indicator species and what they tell us about the health of the river. Bring your playful attitude and maybe a pair of dry socks. This will surely be the outing your friends/date remember you brought them to! \nFor questions about this program\, please contact Augie Rodenbeck at arodenbeck@urbanecologycenter.org. \nRegistration is required for this event and will close 24 hours prior to event start time.
