DESCRIPTION:Brett Lysne is an artist working in printmaking\, drawing\, artist books\, and mixed media. His work is inspired by mapmaking\, language\, knowledge\, and queer record-keeping. Currently Brett is living in Minneapolis\, MN and is a co-op member at Highpoint Center for Printmaking. \nThroughout the fall and spring semesters\, the Artists Now! Guest Lecture Series welcomes a diverse group of nationally and internationally recognized artists working across traditional\, hybrid and emergent disciplines. Join us to explore and expand boundaries of creative visual practices alongside others with an interest in contemporary visual art.

DESCRIPTION:Now in its 83rd year\, Holiday Folk Fair International is the largest indoor multicultural festival in the United States\, welcoming tens of thousands of attendees to celebrate more than 40 cultures under one roof. Enjoy traditional music and dance at the All Nations Theater\, sample global cuisine at the World Café and Chef’s Stage\, shop the International Bazaar\, and dance along at the Tanzhaus. This year’s theme\, Celebrate the Culture of Traditional Dance\, highlights how movement connects generations and communities.
