DESCRIPTION:Join us and other Park Champions in celebrating and supporting our remarkable park system. \nThis year\, the Go Green for Parks Event will take place on Tuesday\, September 16\, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. at the South Shore Beer Garden and Terrace. Join us for an evening of celebration\, camaraderie\, and generosity in support of our beloved parks. \nTickets include fun activities for all ages\, drinks\, appetizers\, and a great time at a great park. Live entertainment will include DJ A-Biz\, a silent and live auction\, arts and crafts\, and more! \nMilwaukee County Parks is home to 150+ parks\, one of the largest park systems in the country. Out parks are vital to our community\, providing spaces for recreation\, relaxation\, and connection. 90% of Milwaukee residents live within a ten-minute walk of a park. \nDecades of funding cuts means that today\, our vast and vibrant park system is in peril. Through fundraisers like Go Green for Parks\, Milwaukee Parks Foundation is leveraging philanthropy to make an impact in our local green spaces. \n
