DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the magical world of Home on the Stone! Collector of collections Alex Pippen welcomes visitors on a phantasmagorical journey\, where tapeworms dance\, carousels spin and definitely no one gets eaten by a whale! Join friends Hari and Penny as they explore Alex’s twisted world\, upset an ancient demon\, make friends with a child’s toy\, and use a very ill-advised Groupon. \nAmorphic Beer will host two staged readings of “Home on the Stone\,” an original puppet musical written and directed by local artist and musician Amy Runquist\, with music composed by Drew Prusko of Orange Drink. The performances will take place on Wednesday\, July 23 and Wednesday\, Aug. 6\, both beginning at 7 p.m. \nThe staged readings are free and open to the public\, offering audiences a preview of the full musical production scheduled to debut in Milwaukee in 2026.
