DESCRIPTION:Get swept away by forbidden romance and heart-pounding passion in this refreshing adaptation of the most celebrated love story of all time. Set to the bright\, blue-collar rhythms of Appalachian bluegrass and folk-rock\, Shakespeare’s star-crossed couple soars to new heights as they risk everything for the joy of being together\, surrounded by a withering city on the brink of despair. Associate Artistic Director Laura Braza continues the tradition established by recent hit productions of “As You Like It” and “Much Ado About Nothing” by fusing great music with Shakespeare’s poetry to create a sparkling take on a beloved classic that will appeal to all generations. \nBy William Shakespeare\nDirected by Laura Braza \n
