DESCRIPTION:Join Wisconsin Public Radio with host Norman Gilliland for a live radio broadcast to celebrate WPR’s classical music service in Milwaukee. Norman will host Midday Live featuring some of Milwaukee’s best young musical artists. Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson is declaring December 5 WPR Classical Music Day in Milwaukee and will present a special proclamation live on the air. \nStop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and be part of the live radio audience. The broadcast takes place from the Ellen & Joe Checota Gallery inside the Bradley Symphony Center\, home of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. You can enter through the doors under the Marquee. \nIf you can’t join us in person\, listen live on 90.7 FM or stream on wpr.org/music. \nThe line-up of performers includes the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra\, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music\, Rufus King School Advanced Choir and the Florentine Opera. \nWe encourage you to RSVP for this event\, but registration is not required. \n
