Operated by the Jackson Park Community Association. \nVisit our Taste It Tent each week. \nAt the Taste It Tent\, visitors can sample an array of fresh fruits and vegetables\, discover creative ways to incorporate them into their daily meals\, and learn about the benefits of a wholesome diet. DESCRIPTION:Friends of the Domes’ annual music festival\, Grooving Under Glass\, returns Thursday\, September 26\, 2024\, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. \nDuring this once-a-year event\, music fills the Show and Desert domes as participants enjoy the beauty of The Domes at night while enjoying their favorite beverage. There is entertainment for children in the Education Center as well as two choreographed light shows in the Show Dome. \n“Grooving Under Glass is a fun-filled\, get-up-and-dance evening filled with tasty food and beverages\,” said Christa Beall Diefenbach\, Executive Director\, Friends of the Domes. “It is a great opportunity to have a fun evening out while raising critical funds to help ensure a future for our beloved Domes.” \nFriends of the Domes takes pride in its close relationships with the surrounding community\, and will again feature local music\, food and drinks during the event. Admission includes live entertainment from various performers\, access to The Domes at\nnight\, and parking. The event is $15 for Friends of the Domes members\, and $18 for general admission (children 2 and under are free).
