DESCRIPTION:The Riverwest Farmers Market is held Sundays\, June 2 through Oct. 27\, 2024\, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 2700 N. Pierce St. between Center and Hadley streets in the heart of the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee. There will be no market on July 7. \nThe market offers a plethora of seasonal fruits and vegetables\, local honey and eggs\, freshly made bread\, sweet bakery items\, handcrafted body care items\, and heaping bouquets of flowers. Our mission is to make fresh\, naturally grown\, local food accessible to all. \nVisit our Taste It Tent on June 30\, July 28\, Aug. 25\, Sept. 22 and Oct. 13 \nAt the Taste It Tent\, visitors can sample an array of fresh fruits and vegetables\, discover creative ways to incorporate them into their daily meals\, and learn about the benefits of a wholesome diet. By encouraging more people to visit the markets\, we not only support our hardworking farmers but also foster education and health within our communities. \n

SO FUN. \nThe event will take place outside on Bruce St. between 2nd and 3rd streets and will feature skateboard ramps and obstacles provided by Cream City Skatepark\, a portable rock wall from Adventure Rock\, beer from Indeed Brewing Co\, snacks and beverages from Station 1848 (City Tours MKE)\, vintage market by 414Flea\, live music\, food trucks and more! \nFood Trucks include Twisted Plants\, Frida’s Cocina and Pete’s Pops. \nAnodyne Coffee will host the outdoor event from 12 – 5 p.m. and then shift indoors to the intimate stage for a very special FREE Anniversary Concert from 6 – 9 p.m. All are welcome! \nNew this year\, the folks at Cream City will be hosting an open skate session for kids from 12 – 12:45 p.m. Boards and pads will be provided for any kiddos looking to safely dip their toes! Waivers will be required for your child to participate. \nThe event is free and open to the public\, and skaters of all skill levels are encouraged to participate! \n
