DESCRIPTION:A concert by the UWM Wind Ensemble & Symphony Band. \nThe Wind Ensemble is the premier concert band in the Peck School of the Arts and has been recognized nationally and internationally through numerous invitations to perform at major music conferences. Emphasizing the single performer concept\, the Wind Ensemble uses only players needed for a given piece\, thus providing the greatest exposure for the exceptional musician. \nThe Symphony Band ranks as one of the finest of its kind\, having collaborated with several distinguished composers and performers. Comprised primarily of music majors\, the ensemble provides a wide range of repertoire and performs approximately six concerts each year. \n

Since the release of Rap J ‘s latest album “Unstoppable”\,the rapper has been featured on CBS 58\, Fox 6\, TMJ4\, Miwaukee Journal Sentinel\, and Spectrum News. Rap J’s biggest goal is to give hope through music and prove that any dream is attainable with the right mindset! \nRiz is a local musician who has been performing Jazz\, Hip-Hop and R&B music for over 20 years. During the day he is a regular everyday middle school teacher named Mr. Williams and at night he transforms into Riz\, Milwaukee’s greatest opening act! \nTickets are $10 in advance or $15 day of show. \n
