When you arrive on this cozy February evening\, you will enter the Great Hall by our beautiful fireplace and receive your keepsake wine glass\, the second in a series of four collector wine glasses featuring a new bird of prey each year! Then\, you will take off on a journey to taste a wide variety of international wines selected by experts from AVA Wine\, and nibble on an array of imported cheeses and Italian treats. \nAs you taste wines and learn about our birds of prey\, you will have the opportunity to try and then buy! All sampled wine will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds supporting our Raptor Program\, which educates the public about these birds of prey and their important role in our environment. \nTickets are $65 per person. Non-alcohol tickets are $35. This event is for ages 21 and above. \n

Formed by Marsalis in 2008\, the Uptown Jazz Orchestra stretches the boundaries of what is expected from big bands\, playing with an extraordinary sense of joy and fun that could only come from New Orleans. \nFeaturing up to 18 accomplished musicians\, the Uptown Jazz Orchestra sets the global standard for celebrating jazz in its authentic musical form\, inspiring the next generation of jazz musicians and promoting a culture of diversity\, inclusion\, and accessibility in the arts. \nMarsalis is one of the top trombonists\, composers\, and producers in jazz today.
