DESCRIPTION:Join Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. for an evening of live music featuring Luma Knotty and Recalcitrant! \nLuma Knotty is a WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) Award-winning Green Bay band known for their original blend of guitar-driven funk\, rock\, and reggae. Founded in 2017 by guitarist Ryan Patrick with the idea to fuse his musical roots in blues and funk rock with his training from McNally Smith College of Music and his years of experience in roots reggae. While writing original music/lyrics\, Ryan wanted to create a more modern approach to reggae\, setting the vibe using vibrant stage designs. \nDefinition of RECALCITRANT:\n1: obstinately defiant of authority or restraint\n2a : difficult to manage or operate\nb : not responsive to treatment\nc : resistant\n— recalcitrant noun\nWith focus on original music that has been described as “progressive reggae”\, live performance is always a fun filled energetic event. 2011 found the band sharing the stage with national acts such as\,The Big Wu\, Orgone\, The Heavy Pets\, Roster McCabe and Cosmic Railroad\, and solidifying festival appearances throughout the Midwest.
