The medium’s stilling of strange and familiar scenes allows thoughts and emotions to emerge that facilitate insight and understanding. To that end\, this exhibition gathers a broad range of photographs\, including works by Uta Barth\, Margaret Bourke-White\, Helen Levitt\, Richard Rinaldi\, and many others\, all drawn from the museum’s collection. Arranged in thematic groups that encompass a variety of approaches\, the pictures create vibrant conversations across history\, geography\, and sensibility. \n
