DESCRIPTION:Please join Music at Historic Trinity as we welcome Madison-based “Just Bach” for their first performance in Milwaukee. The program will include Bach’s motet Loben den Herrn\, alle Heiden\, cantatas 165 and 196\, selections from cantata 117\, and Buxtehude’s Herr\, wenn ich nur Dich hab\, performed by a full vocal quartet plus instruments. \nAdmission is free with a $15 suggested free-will donation. \nJust Bach was founded to celebrate and to share with the Madison community at large the immense range of Bach’s vocal and instrumental repertoire. Just Bach presents performers who play and sing using historically-informed performance practice\, bringing the music to life in a manner and style with which Bach was familiar.
