DESCRIPTION:Join Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. for an evening of live music featuring Hanna Simone\, Josh Trimble and Soul Speed! \nHanna Simone is a 23 year old American singer songwriter from Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. \nInfluenced by Brandi Carlile\, Jewel\, and H.E.R.\, Hanna started performing in Nashville as a solo artist at age 16. After relocating to Milwaukee\, she put together a talented and close-knit band that compliments her style and originality. In a live setting\, a driving passion is evident as her blues vocals blend with the high-energy rock edge provided by the musicianship and creativity of her band. Intricate lyrics\, matched with her timbre\, demonstrate her musical sensibilities as an independent artist. Hanna aims to persuade the audience to feel a real musical connection and intimacy with lyrical vulnerability and honesty. \nJosh Trimble is currently pursuing a BA in Music at Columbia College Chicago. He has studied under the private instruction of Scott Hlavenka\, Steve Peplin\, Neil Davis\, Cassandra O’Neal\, and is currently studying with Columbia’s associate chair of music\, Bill Boris. His style is an eclectic compilation of the music he surrounds himself with. From writing and performing as a solo artist\, orchestrating and arranging for 8-piece funk bands\, studio production\, running professional live sound\, performing in jazz combos\, among many other mediums of performance\, he seeks to capture the soul of life’s moments in the form of song through the diversity of his creative offerings. \nSoul Speed is a 9-piece Soul-Funk band that specializes in its tight arrangements of classic and modern tunes along with its own original compositions. Soul Speed draws influence from the sounds of 70’s Soul/Funk-era bands as well as ideas from Jazz\, Hip-Hop\, and Rock. \nTickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Advance tickets are available until 3 p.m. day of show. Doors open at 7 p.m. and show begins at 8 p.m. \n  \n
