This event will feature a workshop with Nakeysha Roberts Washington starting at 5:30 p.m. The stage will open up for open-mic poetry reading at 6:30 p.m.\, and Thorngate-Rein will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. \nAll proceeds from this event will go toward production of Grace Is My Middle Name\, a documentary/visual album about identity\, faith and politics. \n***Anyone worried about cost can attend the workshop on a pay-what-you-can basis and stay for the duration of the event. \nThis show is $5 in advance or $10 at the door. Advance tickets are available until 3 p.m. the day of the show. Doors will open at 5 p.m. \n
