DESCRIPTION:WI’s only international drone racing competition over ice returns to the Pettit National Ice Center for its second year April 29-30! This popular weekend event attracts drone enthusiasts and families to see more than 60 professional drone pilots from the U.S. and as far away as Italy\, Costa Rica and South Korea racing at 120 mph over the Pettit’s ice rinks for $25\,000 in cash prizes. Local student teams will also compete. New this year for attendees on Saturday – special interactive Drone Zones where fans can meet pilots/support teams; learn how to make\, fly and repair drones; try out the Velocidrone – a virtual drone simulator\, watch drone pilots performing tricks\, learn more about drones\, robotics and rockets and much more.
