DESCRIPTION:The UWM University Community Orchestra\, led by Music Director Margery Deutsch and Assistant Conductor Kari Kraenzler\, will perform their annual spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday\, May 5 at the Helen Bader Concert Hall\, located in the Helene Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts\, 2419 E. Kenwood Blvd\, Milwaukee. \nThe University Community Orchestra will be featuring the UCO Concert Chorale (led by Steve Joyal) for a performance of a patriotic medley honoring America’s armed forces. Also on the program will be Jacques Offenbach’s Overture to La belle Hélène\, the third movement of Mendelssohn’s 3rd Symphony “Scottish”\, the Cossak Dance from Tchaikovsky’s Mazeppa opera\, Selections from “Les Misérables”\, and the finale of Symphony No. 2\, Op. 43 by Sibelius.
