SUMMARY:Milwaukee Gospel Jubilee
DESCRIPTION:Milwaukee Gospel Jubilee is the premiere annual fundraiser for Progressive Community Health Centers. All proceeds generated from the event support the organization’s mission to provide increased health care access to low income populations in Milwaukee’s central city. \nThe 6th Annual Milwaukee Gospel Jubilee is a community-driven event that features local musical talent from a variety of backgrounds including youth groups\, faith-based communities and other partners focused on diversity\, inclusion and equality. This unique concert-style program offers a chance for audiences of all ages to experience the powerful inspiration gospel music delivers\, which is particularly reflective of Progressive CHC’s largely African American patient population. Generous sponsorship of Milwaukee Gospel ensures that every dollar raised via ticket sales will directly fund care for Progressive CHC’s growing patient population. These funds are used to offset expenses not covered by federal funding and are critical to the daily operations and long-term sustainability of the agency. The event has raised nearly $150\,000 in unrestricted funding for Progressive Community Health Centers since its inception in 2014. \nTickets: $25 general admission can be purchased at www.marcuscenter.org \nFeaturing performances by: \n• Holy Hill Praise Dancers\n• Sounds of Faith\n• Arias Walker\n• Spiritual Tones\n• Queens of Harmony\n• Voices of Faith

SUMMARY:The Velocity of Autumn
DESCRIPTION:Angela Iannone stars as Alexandra\, a woman in a showdown with her family over where she’ll spend her remaining years. After locking herself in her Brooklyn brownstone with enough Molotov cocktails to take out the entire block\, her estranged son\, Chris\, climbs in through the second-story window as the family’s unlikely mediator. A wickedly funny and wonderfully touching discovery of the fragility of life.\nSome adult language and situations; best suited for ages 16 and over. \nIn Tandem Theatre does not have assigned seating. Arrive early and enjoy live music\, a drink by the fire – seating begins a half hour prior to show time. If you have a medical necessity (cane\, walker\, visually or hearing impaired)\, special seating arrangements can be made – let us know when you make your reservation. Our venue is fully accessible.
