SUMMARY:Autumn Celebration at the Urban Ecology Center
DESCRIPTION:Free annual Autumn Celebration this Saturday\, October 29th from noon until 4 p.m. \nCome celebrate a beautiful autumn in Washington Park! Join us for fall food and drinks\, pumpkin carving\, giant leaf piles\, autumn crafts\, and entertainment and fun for all ages! \nThe festival will be bursting with autumn-inspired free food\, especially caramel apples and apple cider. Pies made by neighborhood kids and volunteers from Community Pie will also be served. Attendees can also learn how to make their own apple cider during a demonstration. \nThe festival also has an early edition\, Autumn Celebration for Afternoon Nappers\, which runs from 10:30 am until noon. It’s perfect for families with children between 3 and 5 years old who need to play before the afternoon energy crash.
