DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Milwaukee’s rich cultural heritage at We the People Community Day\, a free\, family-friendly event inspired by the Milwaukee County Historical Society’s exhibit\, We the People: Milwaukee Stories of Immigration\, Citizenship\, and Community. \nEnjoy live cultural performances throughout the day\, explore the interactive exhibit\, create hands-on crafts\, and participate in activities for all ages. Performances feature the Little Priest Singers\, Studio K Flamenco\, Milwaukee Irish Dance Studio\, Dance Academy of Mexico\, and the Hmong American Friendship Association. Guests can also enjoy an origami activity led by OCA-WI (Organization of Chinese Americans–Wisconsin)\, recycled paper rose making\, Statue of Liberty coloring pages\, and America 250 paper crown crafts. \nFood will be available for purchase beginning at 11:00 a.m. from Frida’s Cocina and All Belgium Waffles. \n
