DESCRIPTION:Radio Milwaukee’s roots are in jazz. As a nod to our past\, with a solid focus on the future\, we are crafting a fundraising event that reaches across the borders of age to bring together those well-versed in jazz with people dipping their toes into the genre for the first time. A celebration of jazz\, this reimagined event\, will be a fusion of nostalgia and innovation. Unwind\, savor a drink\, and lose yourselves in the tunes by Miles Davis\, Herbie Hancock\, Charlie Parker\, Horace Silver\, John Coltrane\, Cannonball Adderley\, Wayne Shorter and Art Blakey. The music from these masters will flow seamlessly from the vinyl\, and transition to a live Milwaukee All-Star Jazz Band led by Jamie Breiwick.
