DESCRIPTION:Since 1959\, seven nations have sent over 50 spacecraft to the moon. Six people in human history have stepped on the lunar surface and onto another world. What will it take to get us to Mars? Learn about the challenges associated with going to Mars and how we can use what we have learned from over 50 years of lunar exploration to get us there. Enjoy indoor stargazing with a tour of the local night sky free of light pollution followed by the opportunity to ask questions of astronomer Jean Creighton. \nThis event is family-friendly.
