DESCRIPTION:FREE FAMILY FUN! \nCome watch South Milwaukee’s entertaining parade featuring marching band units\, floats\, clowns\, jugglers\, musicians\, and more. Feel the pride as you watch the represented Military\, local police and fire departments\, well-known mascots and other community organizations travel down the street. \nThis fun family event is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for all ages! The parade begins on 8th & Milwaukee Ave\, goes to 16th\, and then North to Rawson Ave\, ending at SM Lion’s Fest. \nThis local parade is funded 100% by donations\, we cannot put on this parade without the help of our local community and generous donations from our business partners & sponsors. \nThe parade committee works year-round to ensure the community gets the best parade with the coolest units and honors veterans\, local political leaders\, children’s activities and groups\, local businesses\, marching bands\, clowns\, and everyone in between. More than 100 units will take to the heart of South Milwaukee on Milwaukee Avenue – to provide one of the best FREE entertainment events of the summer! \n
