DESCRIPTION:The Relay for Life of Greater Milwaukee is a community walk to benefit the American Cancer Society. It includes four signature elements: a celebration of cancer survivors\, a celebration of caregivers\, a luminaria ceremony to honor and remember loved ones\, and the opportunity to fight back against cancer. \nMore than just a walk\, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Greater Milwaukee brings together passionate supporters who embody the American Cancer Society vision to end cancer as we know it\, for everyone. This volunteer-led experience unites our community to celebrate cancer survivors\, remember loved ones lost to cancer\, and raise funds to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy\, research\, and patient support\, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent\, detect\, treat\, and survive cancer. \nPlease join us for a fun night filled with many activities\, such as a game tent\, kid’s grab bags\, lawn games\, a silent auction\, a survivor lounge\, concessions\, a luminaria ceremony\, a poker walk\, and of course\, a track to walk as we celebrate\, remember\, and fight back against cancer! \n
