DESCRIPTION:Scout Gallery and the Magnet Factory will present an exclusive one-night retrospective of works by Milwaukee artist Eric Von Munz. The exhibition will feature nearly 30 years of screen-printed concert posters\, offering a rare opportunity to view and collect pieces that capture the visual history of underground and independent music through Von Munz’s distinctive lens. \nThe event will feature music by WMSE 91.7FM DJ Ascot of the Jing Jong Triple Play. This one-night-only exhibition celebrates the enduring connection between music and visual art\, as well as the legacy of Milwaukee’s creative community. \nAbout the Artist:\nEric Von Munz is a Milwaukee-based visual artist whose work bridges the worlds of music and design. Known for his bold screen prints\, Von Munz has created promotional artwork for some of the most influential names in modern rock\, including the White Stripes\, DEVO\, Queens of the Stone Age\, and Joan Jett. Through his artwork\, he has translated the energy and ethos of independent music into lasting visual form. His posters have been exhibited nationally and are held in private and public collections. \n
