SUMMARY:"No Small Matter" Documentary Screening
DESCRIPTION:Next Door — a leading provider of high quality early childhood education in Milwaukee — is partnering with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation\, Milwaukee Succeeds and United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County to present a free screening of the new documentary\, No Small Matter\, on Wednesday\, February 27. More than 300 guests have registered for the event at Marquette University and more spaces are available. \nNo Small Matter — produced by the Kindling Group and Siskel/Jacobs Productions — is the first major theatrical documentary addressing the critical need for our country to strengthen investment in high quality early childhood education. Viewers will observe the stunning truths about the human capacity for early intelligence and the potential for high quality early childhood education to create long-term benefits for our country and its youngest learners. \nThe screening will take place in the Tony and Lucille Weasler Auditorium on Marquette’s campus. There will be a Talk Back program with one of the filmmakers\, Greg Jacobs\, following the screening. \n
