SUMMARY:Milwaukee Jazz Institute Quintet
DESCRIPTION:Get jazzy just in time for the holidays with a Winter Solstice Celebration! Join the Wilson Center as we celebrate some of Milwaukee’s finest jazz musicians—including Eric Jacobson (trumpet)\, Lenard Simpson (alto sax)\, Mark Davis (piano)\, Jeff Hamann (bass)\, and Dave Bayles (drums)—in this one-night concert featuring a range of holiday standards and quintessential jazz favorites. \nThis performance will take place in our beautiful Harris Theater; to ensure a safe and welcoming experience for all audiences\, only 150 tickets will be available for each performance; the performance will last one hour without an intermission. Once an order is placed\, our Box Office staff will assign seat locations prior to the performance so that we may ensure physical distancing between all parties. Audience also are welcome to go virtual with us this holiday season! \nPLUS! Set your holidays aglow and join us at the Wilson Center as we partner with Majic Productions and KEI Landscaping to light up the night! Audiences will have an opportunity before and after all “Sights & Sounds of the Season” performances to purchase refreshing holiday spirits & sweet treats while enjoying a fun and festive light display in our beautiful Burke Colonnade and surrounding grounds. \n
