DESCRIPTION:Join us for the monthly Milwaukee Contra Dance at the Quaker Friends Meeting House! \n-New dancers welcomed! No partner necessary! No experience necessary!\n-If you can walk\, you can contra dance\n-If new\, consider joining in the fun lesson/orientation a half hour before the dance. If you can’t make that\, show up anyway\, you’ll pick it up!\n-Many of us bring clean\, soft soled shoes to change into to protect floors. At the very least\, clean the sand\, salt and pebbles from your soles.\n-Bring friends for more fun!\n-Community dancing for all ages\n-High energy\, live music\n-Each dance is taught\, then danced to live music for about 5-8 minutes\n-Everyone makes mistakes but nobody cares\n-The more you do it\, the easier and more fun it becomes\n-Treat one another with care and respect\, smile and have a good time\n-Bring your water bottle \nLessons: 6:30 p.m.\, Dance: 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.\nAdmission is $5 for students and $10 for adults\nSeptember 8th – Live Music by Frogwater \n
