DESCRIPTION:Open Community Dance with live music and a caller. Live music by A Rare Privilege. \n\nNew dancers welcomed! No partner necessary! No experience necessary!\nIf you can walk\, you can contra dance\nIf new\, consider joining in the fun lesson/orientation a half hour before the dance. If you can’t make that\, show up anyway\, you’ll pick it up!!\nMany of us bring clean\, soft soled shoes to change into to protect floors. At the very least\, clean the sand\, salt and pebbles from your soles.\nBring friends for more fun!\nCommunity dancing for all ages.\nHigh energy\, live music.\nEach dance is taught\, then danced to live music for about 5-8 minutes.\nEveryone makes mistakes but nobody cares.\nThe more you do it\, the easier and more fun it becomes.\nTreat one another with care and respect\, smile and have a good time.\nBring a water bottle as dancing is a great workout!\n\n
