Vendors and light refreshments. \nMICAH\, elected officials\, community members\, organizations and health systems will work together to restore health services to the Metcalf area .The Metcalfe area has one of the worse health outcomes in Milwaukee. African-American women are three times more likely to die of pregnancy-related causes than white women. The African-American infant mortality rate is twice the rate for white infants. African Americans are more likely to die from cancer and heart disease than whites\, and are at greater risk for the onset of diabetes. \n
