DESCRIPTION:The Marquette University Symphony Orchestra presents their fall concert at 2:00 p.m. Sunday\, October 8 at the Varsity Theatre\, 1326 W. Wisconsin Ave.\, Milwaukee\, WI. This performance is free and open to the public. The symphony\, lead by Maestro Erik Janners\, presents a concert of electric dances. \nFor this performance\, the symphony strings will featured on Giuseppe Verdi’s Sinfonia for Strings (based on his String Quartet in E minor). Also on the program will be The Capriol Suite by Peter Warlock\, Choreography for Strings by Norman Dello Joio\, and Danzas de Panama (Dances of Panama) by William Grant Still. \n
